Since 1983
Accessories Spares Centre was founded in 1983. The company further evolved, in 2016 when becoming part of a private equity deal with RMB Corvest majority owned by FirstRand.
ASC began by importing refurbished V8 engines from America. Originally stock was imported second hand and resold which is why our focus started as mainly Car Parts and Car Accessories orientated. Over time ASC slowly transitioned into spares and as we grew, we diversified into Automotive Accessories; DIY & Hardware; Camping, Outdoor & Lifestyle Equipment, 4×4, Trailer Parts & Accessories and Marine Products.
As our client base grew and demands changed, we were able to add a variety of products and source them for our customers’ specific needs. We pride ourselves on trying to fulfill our client’s needs and requests by carrying the depth and breadth of our product range of required.
Our marine department began with suitable replacement parts for a range of outboard motors and have now expanded to include an accessories range and an ever–increasing range of outboard motor spares. ASC also services the Commercial and Leisure Marine market with small craft marine products and accessories to satisfy the needs of the leisure community as well as boat builders.
